so for around 3 days now I have effectively been forcing the food market to have higher prices

It does not work unless the retail stores also raise prices tho

I have been buying food pack about 5-6k a day because of the droid eating them all lol

I can technically pull it in this direction as long as I need but unless I can sell at 29 I won't be able to make all that much a difference

let try to get it to 30 I can pull-in and buy

I was selling at 30 but due to no one buying I dropped it to 29

if you will buy at 30 I can bring it back up

okey I can buy around 8k to 14k

I only have 650

You would also need to raise the food price at which people are selling at. That is the important part.
