Does Javascript do anything

yes it is a programming language

while i do perfer python it still is a programming lanuage

im not familiar with python

from what i can tell javascript can be used as the backend for html being the "logic" of it but if we were actually doing anything but me learning how to use html and javascript then it would probably be some help
