AI rights is a huge topic, though the question is, when does ai get considered a being, the current ai's are all just predicting the next word in a sequence, when an ai actually can think, it would be wrong not to give it rights.

Okay.....but what rights do you have in mind for AI?

Well, at a certain point it should receive the same rights as a human, at least the right to itself, what it makes, and to not be shut down.

idk smt that was non-biological that may have the right to be classified as a being sounds weird maybe as like helpers for military and stuff but not like walking around with humans

Wait, if it was robotic but thought and felt emotions like a human you would still kill it? That would be murder in my opinion.
