What if currencies were pinned to real life values instead of in-game fluctuations?

No since that means the market is not influenced by the players of this game

Also please may the land be distributed equally and not amongst one or two people (like Germany)

1 land per person and there a massive battle for it on action

Land will get auctioned and then people need to bid on them to buy them so it's not exactly distributed, pretty sure xdcd just outbidded everyone and got the land in other countries. But when admin added 10 extra plots in NYC he made it so each person can bid on only 1 plot, so he will probably do that and many people will get a plot each.

Hopefully admin does that next time, we'll have to wait for the next update I guess

I hope he adds the six seven update next time.
