Hey guys, I am looking to sell some of my grain to private companies for 0.55 USD/kg. Two reasons for this:
- I don't want to monopolize and/or lower grain prices for everyone else
- The instability of production and distribution in this game are apparent for now, I'm sure its annoying for a lot of you
At this moment I have 2000kg of grain ready to sell
you won't monopolize it, simple as that, the instability is clear, but that is kinda how the economy will be until the game has a larger player base.
also, yes it is annoying. but don't worry, some of the players here have complexes that take ~1250 grain a day per company and I have no doubt there aren't more companies ran than that, I was part of 2 of these food complexes earlier on, at this point both are kinda dead due to complications relating to several things
also, as far as I know only 2 monopolies exist, XDCD's and home depot, and it would take a lot of resources to even make movement on the earlier end of the economy, as you would need to kill the competiton meaning you would need to sell at a potential loss

I don't see how Home Depot is a monopoly anymore tbh. XDCD is the only real monopoly in the game.
yeah but isn't it that home depot still has effectively the remains of the Cement market
what's the point of having cement? the wages home depot gave for cement was 100$, when cement sell for 105$ per worker.
Now cement is worth 0.2$, effectively losing 60-70$ per worker, that is assuming home depot still is holding onto cement and dint just sell the rest.
And there is no empty land except the ones XDCD has, basically cement is useless now.

you are right about that, they probably sold off/dismantled whatever was left
