What are all of your favorite historical characters? As in people from the 1900s and before

Winston Churchill, widely regarded as the man who saved Britain and the entirety of Western Civilization from the Nazis during WW2.

I know WW2 is after the year 1900 but it's close enough

Although I do strictly condemn his quotes about different races, people, etc, they are quite offensive

Alfred Nobel, he was a pretty noble man

That's the only facist I know. Also I said that as a joke btw don't take it seriously. My real favorite is Atatürk.
