Not everyone wants to play this daily (granted doesn't take to much time) but sometimes you just need to focus on a test or something. Having a manager option would auto sell a specified amount of the company you own. Can be 1 for multiple companies or 1 for each company.
I'm pretty sure that's the point of being able to hire directors and such.
The reason it doesn't happen much is because directors can do anything at the moment.
If it was possible to set limits such as certain price ranges, and disabling certain transfers (of shares for example) for director's it would be nice, and used more often I imagine.
