Currently shares are worth the book value of the company.
For IPO's, maybe the highest bid rather than last price and a requirement to have sold 5% of the company to 5+ players?
Its random and barely an issue, but if a company is trading at p/b > 1 it shows as a loss, even if bids are higher. This, with other net worth calculation fixes, would hopefully encourage IPO trading and investing.
Investing and debt makes the world run and markets move (so I made #shadowlords and the institutions ). I think investments and affordable smart debt could significantly benefit the games economy. 1% interest rates aren't even considerable for large loans (imo).
Idk.
Fixing the other net worth errors is by far more important than this (orders and deposits contributing to net worth and the ability to have negative net worths).
