Sure, but it doesn't mean that the asset should be locked forever. Plenty of companies in this game have creation fees, but it is still refunded to the player, should it be deleted. This isn't the point - the point is to allow banks to be deleted, since every other company has the same option

Typically Creation Fees should not be returned. But ig it is good that it gets returned when you delete most companies.
Idk why you can delete some companies and you cannot delete others to get creation fee back. But I do agree that banks should be deletable As I also want to delete 2 of my banks.
And I'm guessing your asking the admin for this because you made a bank thinking you can delete it.
Many people have already asked for this before and not sure if admin wants to do that. Hopefully he does.

You're right, I made a bank out of curiosity assuming that you could get the creation fee back when you delete it, but as it turns out that isn't the case. I actually checked the game manual beforehand, and there was nothing saying that banks can't be deleted.
I suppose the bare minimum that could be done is to mention it on the game manual or at least provide players with a warning before making the bank itself.
I spoke to @Monke about this, who said that banks are currently unable to be deleted due to technical issues. Hopefully it can be fixed in the next update.

Wasn't there someone panicking a while back because he bought a bank at auction and couldn't delete it or something?
It is called Creation fee and it's a bit naive and risky to just go "I sure hope I get my 50k back" as you see the vault door close in front of you. Nonetheless I do hope it gets fixed and you get your money back my man

I mean when I was new I spent 15k on auction to get Chase Bank, I thought I could delete it but I did not try to delete it for like a month, but after a month when I did try to delete, it did not work. Thankfully I did not create an actual new bank, and I found out you cannot delete it right before I bought another bank for 35k
Sorry about the trouble with bank deletion. The plan is to make them deletable like all other company types, hopefully by the next update.
In case anyone needs to turn their bank back into money urgently before the next update, you can create a trade offer to me (@Admin), and I'll buy it off your hands for exactly USD 50k. Just make sure the bank doesn't have any active loans, deposits or other assets.
