Food prices need to rise. 26$ per food package at the exchange isn't enough for food companies. Grain is almost 1$, and electricity is almost 0.5$. Retail stores can increase their prices to 30$ because people earn 1000$ every day if they work 10 jobs. I've already started to buy food on the exchange for 29$ and selling for 30$ but no one is buying it because there are cheaper options, and because of that I can't buy more food packages for 29$ because I'm not earning back any money. Food companies are the ones that power the economy of this game. Without food companies, Grain, Electricity and Water companies won't make money either.

I do run a food company and last I checked we need to sell at 27 USD to not lose money
